Selected work
Miroslavo
A digital home for an independent contemporary art practice.
Situation
Miroslavo is my own art practice. The work needed a public place with the character of the studio: somewhere to look at pieces, ask about one, and picture it in a room.
Decision
The gallery and the studio tools share one site and keep two characters. The gallery is for looking. Studio is for decisions about the work itself, starting with how an original is priced. The administration stays behind the scenes.
What was assembled
- A catalogue of works and collections, with a collecting guide, in English, Czech and Spanish
- An enquiry for a specific piece, kept with the studio
- View in Room, so a work can be placed on a wall from a phone or a photo
- An artwork pricing calculator for pricing originals with a clear structure
What changed
The practice now has a site that carries the work, the enquiry and the room preview together. People meet the art first.
What came next
Studio is still growing. A private collector preview can hold a work when a release is open. Checkout for prints is prepared and waits on payments. The other studio tools are sketched and not yet in use.
